Scattering Cimarrón
Scattering Cimarrón is a research–outreach initiative focused on documenting the career trajectories of Cuban physicists and making visible their academic, scientific, and professional paths.
The project combines science communication, historical documentation, interviews, data collection, and public dissemination. Its aim is to create a living archive that helps preserve scientific memory while also providing useful references for younger students and early-career researchers.
Main goals
- Document the professional trajectories of Cuban physicists.
- Create accessible material for students and young researchers.
- Highlight scientific mobility, mentorship, and international collaboration.
- Build a public archive connecting physics, education, and community memory.
My role
I founded the project and coordinate its overall direction, including project design, data collection, team organization, content strategy, and dissemination.
